Beautiful Little Heartbeat!

I got to hear the baby's heartbeat for the very first time the other day at the second doctor's appointment. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that there is a tiny human inside of me, it is such a miracle. The heartbeat was 174 beats per minute which is pretty fast. (I've read that higher heartrates produces little girls, so we'll see. :) Chase and I have decided to do a 4d ultrasound for our first anniversary, April 6th. We will be about 17 weeks along then so they may be able to tell us the sex of the baby! Keep your fingers crossed :)

Baby's First Photos!

Had our first ultrasound today! I got to see the heartbeat, and they measured its size to see how far along we are. 8 weeks and 5 days today. So I guess the doctor was right on :) Can't wait to find out the sex, only 10 weeks or so to go till then. :)
