Everything with Hunter is just fine. Except that he never got the chance to meet the most amazing man God ever created. My grandfather, Don Converse passed away Friday, June 19th. It is therapeudic to me to write about this because although I am filled with sadness and devastation, I have never heard of a more beautiful passing and I thank God he didnt have one second of pain. He was diagnosed with cancer not so long ago and up til now was 100 percent the happy, loving, carefree man he always was. For his and my grandmother's 60th anniversary, my entire family and many family friends went on a 7 day cruise to canada. He died peacefully in his sleep as the cruise was coming to an end. Rocked gently by the waves, after saying his goodbyes to most everyone he loved, doing the thing he loved most, traveling. Of course we wish we had more time with him, but I know he is watching over us, and is still just as anxiuosly awaiting his first great grandchild. Rest in peace, my paka. i love you.
